A native of Lyon, Frédéric Pichon lived in Guadeloupe for 22 years. He was a French teacher at Baie-Mahault prison. His experience in a prison environment provided him with the necessary elements to write this book. A graduate of the “institut Supérieur de la Communication de la Presse et de l’Audiovisuel” (ISCPA), the author was a journalist for around fifteen years. He wrote articles about Pre-Columbian archaeology for the National Geographic Magazine. He is a lover of Latin America and the Caribbean. He stayed in Paraguay, travelled through Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and the Dominican Republic…
